This is Chelsea, the sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet. Chelsea is a 40 year old Double Yellow Headed Amazon. She is anxious of hands inside her cage but steps up easily onto a perch from inside and onto arms outside of her cage. Chelsea loves head scratches and asking “How are you?” She’s working on a healthier diet and needs a home that encourages her to eat well and move about as she tends to be a perch-potato. Chelsea is a typical Amazon and can bite if you invade her cage when she wants to be left alone, and she would not be suited for a home with shared walls. Can you provide an enriching environment for this little old lady?Adoption Fee: $400Adoption processWhether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website.
