Soda Pop Domestic Shorthair Young Female

Soda Pop is a female kitten, born March 2023. Her mom is Sugar and her brothers are Sage and Slate. They have been in care since mid-July, when they were about 4.5-5 months old. Female kittens that age who haven't been well socialized are hard-wired to be very careful around new people and environments (we think it's because they could have kittens and need to hide and protect them, while males are more outgoing because they have to move around to find lady friends). Soda is still very timid with new people. She hisses, but never bites. She loves to snuggle her brother Sage because he's big and she can peep out from behind him. If you pet him when she's watching and hearing him purr, she will allow petting too, but it's scary without him. We would love to see the two of them adopted together, with work and a quiet, low-stimulation environment, Soda should come out of her shell.March 9, 2024, 2:13 amIf you have any questions or would like to adopt Soda Pop, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
