Hello! My name is Princess Pearl, but most just call me Pearl. It has been 15 months since my foster mom pulled me from a kill shelter in Harris County and I have yet to find my forever home. Let me tell you a bit about myself, in case you are the one I’ve been waiting for. My foster mom says I am the sweetest thing. I am very good with kids, and all people, I am also house broken, crate trained, and leash trained. I am a very easy to love, snuggle bug. But I also love to have some fun, I love playing with ALL the toys. Fetch and shred-able toys are my favorite. When I'm not playing with toys I also love to run, then sun bathe in the yard. I LOVE playing with bigger dogs, I’m not sure about the little guys that look like my toys…. My foster mom says when alone, I do best crated in my heavy-duty crate, because apparently regular wire crates aren't meant for flossing your teeth... weird, I know. Food is my addiction; I will do anything for a good treat. I know how to take treats gently before devouring every crumb. Since I'm very food motivated, I've learned a couple of cool things for rewards like ‘sit’, 'lay down', 'crate' and 'shake'!
