My name is Dallas and I am sweet Texan boy seeking my forever home! My perfect human (or humans) will be ready to take me on lots of adventures and will be happy to know that I am getting very good at walking with a leash. They will also need to be able to keep up with my big energy and puppy playfulness! I can get a little rowdy when I'm excited but playing fetch usually helps me with that and I am a very good fetcher! I will need my forever people to be patient with me and help me learn more commands, but I am getting really good at sitting when I'm told and I'm also starting to get the hang of staying too. I really enjoy playing with other dogs and I like the cats in my foster home but I can't help but want to chase them when they run - I just want to play! It's also taken me very little time to figure out where I'm supposed to go potty and I am so eager to please by going in the right place. I need a home with a fenced yard with lots of room to run. I cannot live in an apartment, I wouldn't be happy without my own yard to romp in. I'm still a pup and want to share my days & nights with very own person or family. What adventures await us? I'm ready to go! Dallas is a male English Pointer. He was born approximately 12-14-22 and weighs 51 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
