Adopt Chopper a Brown/Chocolate Hound (Unknown Type) / Catahoula Leopard Dog dog

Chopper was adopted from us as a puppy in 2020 and returned due to some aggression towards the new puppy in the household. He is an extremely lovable dog that loves to get out and explore. He does have barrier aggression towards new people, but is a lovebug once he is taken out of his kennel. Chopper loves going on walks and is not reactive towards other dogs in passing by. He is housetrained and knows "sit" and "shake." Chopper will never say no to a treat or two. Chopper can be a little strong on a leash at first, but settles down and walks very well after a few minutes. Chopper is not a fan of cats. Chopper is crate trained, but if he does get left for too long he will try to find a way out. Chopper does not handle being an outside-only dog very well, and will find a way to either scale the fence or dig out. Chopper is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative and on prevention.
