COURTESY LISTING FOR AN OWNER SURRENDER: Meet Bucky! Bucky is a 3 year old Shepherd mix. He is a very affectionate dog who loves anyone he meets! He is happy go lucky and always has a smile on his face. He would be more than content as an only dog with just the love of his people, but also plays very nicely with his foster housemate! Bucky does currently have cats in his foster home and has been gentle with them, but his foster mom feels he would do best in a house without cats so he isn’t tempted to chase them. Bucky previously lived very well with 3 small children, and would thrive with an active owner or family to play with him. But he also really enjoys snuggling up on the couch and being lazy! A home with a fenced in yard or one who is willing to take him on walks would be best for him to stretch his very long legs! He is looking for someone who will continue his training, because he is a quick learner. He is currently working on his off leash recall and learning to enjoy his kennel as a safe space. Because Bucky loves his people so much and has had his life turned upside down recently, he thrives on consistency and routine! He loves dog day care!
