Maya has a very sad history but hopefully a bright future! She was found wandering in FWB, heavily pregnant, emaciated and filthy dirty. Her puppies are all weaned and adopted, so now it's her turn. She is shy with strangers and will need a patient, knowledgeable owner to work with her. Maya's adoption fee is $150. Our dog adoption fees range from $95 to $400 and include spay/neuter, microchip, a rabies vaccine and a parvo/distemper vaccine. It also includes a heartworm test. All dogs are current on heartworm and flea prevention. If you see a dog here you are interested in, the best way to get more information is to visit our adoptable dogs album at www.SWSDogs.com. From there you can find the dog and comment on his or her picture which will notify the foster family of your interest. We are a foster-based rescue, so adoptable animals are in private homes in the NW Florida Panhandle. The best way to meet one of our pets is to attend our adoption events on Saturday.
